They were received with all courtesies and according to customs. The engagement function as arranged as per the castoms of banjaras. As per our customs Ramji Naik paid Rs. 80/- towards the Karar (agreement of marraige) and fixed the date of marriage Goram Naik treated the guests lavishly. Ramji Naik and his followers were very happy and returned home.

On a fixed date Ramji Naik with his followers went to Heropur. Goram Naik received the guests respectfully and enthusiustically. All arrangements were made elaborately and satisfactorily for their stay and food. On the day of marriage at an auspicious time the marriage of Bhima Naik and Dharmini bai was solemnised, according to banjara customs and traditions.
A person from Vadathiya (Jadhav) gothra acted as a priest to perform all the sasthras According to Harilal Pawar the marriage was solemnised on a Depavali day. (Harilal Pawar- Santh Sevalal). All the guests, were treated with sumptuous meal as usual.
People enjoyed the function with laughter, humers, music and dance. Thus the union between two rich and great families took place. After the marriage all the guests were given a grand farewell. Ramji Naik and his followers with the bridegroom and bride returned to Ramagundam with great satisfaction.
Bhima Naik had no issues for a long time. Bhima Naik was devotee of Sri Mariamma (Sri Jagadamba). He prayed to Sri Mariamma for children. Harilal Pawar states that he sat for meditation for a long time.
However, after his prayers to Sri Mariamma his wishes became fruitful and Dharmini Bai became pregnant. Bhima Naik and his group became joyous and happy. Dhamini Bai delivered a son on 15-2-1739 who was named Sevabhaya. It is stated that Sevabhaya was born on a Monday. (Rohini nakshathra) on 15-2-1739 (Harilal Pawar)
Bhima Naik had three more sons: Hapa (Hampa), Baddu and Bhanu (Poora).

Sevabhaya grew up a tall, well built and handsome youth with fair complexion. He started and learnt riding horses. He showed signs of devotion to God at an early age. He started worshipping Sri Mariamma (on whose blessings he was born). continue…Part 4
